How to Create Crushed Tissue Flowers

I’m obsessed with paper flowers right now!

I love that they’re so delicate and will last forever.

Paper crafts go as far back as ancient Japan and China and it’s no wonder that people like them so much!

I found an awesome tutorial on how to make a beautiful crushed tissue paper rose:

It’s a great way to add a touch of Spring to these cold late Winter days.

I ordered my husband a paper origami rose from Etsy:

since my attempt at said origami flower was an epic fail! lol

I didn’t have any origami paper so I tried using construction paper….

yeah, that didn’t work out.  ^  _  ^

Here is another awesome tissue paper flower idea I saw on Pinterest:

What kind of paper crafts do you like to make?

Stay kawaii!

  1. When I mess around with paper crafts, I invariably end up doing one of three things: 1) rolling paper beads, 2) practicing origami, or 3) weaving strips of paper into coasters, placemats, or sides of an eventual storage box. I want to try kirigami at some point, and find other ways of using up my metric buttload of magazine paper that I have in storage. :)
